This section outlines our structured PDSA framework. We begin by defining the problem of ambulance offload delays through key performance data, then mapping the current process from EMS dispatch to patient handover. Next, we present a root cause analysis that identifies issues such as unclear guidelines, training gaps, and liability concerns. Finally, we introduce our solution, a targeted training initiative to empower EMS personnel in utilizing the Fit2Sit program more effectively, thereby reducing offload delays and improving emergency response.
